Postage from island nations forms a series of prints that addresses rising sea levels, and postage from continental countries worldwide point to the urgent need to care for the Earth. I captured iPhone images of postage stamps from the albums of my father Richard E. Stoiber (1911-2001) and his grandfather, Louis Stoiber (1851-1940.) Using paper lithography I added cancellation marks which are either a direct reference to rising sea levels, or to the cycles of fragile ecosystems on planet Earth.
